As an artist who began creating at a young age and has been primarily self-taught, I have always embraced the adventurous spirit of taking risks in pursuit of my dreams. Becoming a freelance artist has been a testament to my commitment to authenticity and mastery of my craft.
One of the most rewarding aspects of my artistic journey is the love I have for working in different mediums. Each new medium presents an opportunity for exploration and growth, allowing me to translate my ideas and emotions in unique and captivating ways. Whether it's through acrylic paint, ink, watercolor, graphite, or digital media, I find solace and excitement in the process of bringing my visions to life.
Creating art has always been a therapeutic and relaxing outlet for me. It enables me to express and process the ever-changing emotions and feelings that accompany the human experience. By immersing myself in my art, I find a sense of calm and peace of mind, allowing me to navigate and understand the complexities of life.
In summary, my journey as a self-taught freelance artist revolves around the spirit of embracing risks, exploring diverse mediums, finding therapeutic solace, and capturing the changes, emotions, and moments that shape our lives. Through my art, I aim to evoke introspection, connection, and appreciation for the present moment, celebrating the unique beauty of each individual's journey.
Another hobby I've taken into account is photography. I've transitioned into using photography not just to document my artwork but to capture the fleeting moments of everyday life. As I’ve grown older, I’ve become more aware of the constant changes in people & places, realizing the importance of preserving these moments before they fade away. Photography, unlike the solitary and time-consuming process of drawing, allows me to interact with the world around me, engage with people, and instantly freeze time in a way that our eyes cannot. While drawing can be an isolated, studio-bound activity, photography invites me to be outside, breathe fresh air, and connect with others, making it a more immediate and socially engaging experience.
